Dr Khadija Moalla, the Regional Coordinator for the HIV/AIDS in the Arab States based in Tunisia, names the media and religious leaders as key influencers in both that response to HIV and improving human rights for marginalised groups.
She has a record of building trust then educating Imams and priests. She believes support must also be given to the religious leaders that do take the risk of attack by being the first to show their support for issues that many within churches would prefer not to discuss.
