Matt McDonell speaks with Loti from the Institute of Studies in Health, Sexuality and Human Development based in Lima, Peru. Loti speaks of homophobic bullying in schools where a recent study has found that teachers are often the root cause of school-based bullying from sexuality. Their efforts have resulted in an online complaints system supported by government investigations. Loti also speaks about the role of religion in Peruvian life, community talking programs, machismo culture and using t-shirts as an advocacy tool to eliminate HIV-related stigma.
